  1. Ya, I rolled in at 8PM so I can only speak for the crowds then.
  2. Saturday night was bad, horrible in fact with the crowds. I decided that the lines were all too long and chose to ride and see nothing. Next time I will be driving down on Friday night after work, staying the night, then hitting ERT on Saturday morning before heading back to Columbus. However with the full moon, it was very cool walking around and taking some pictures. http://wwwold.delphi...images/img1.jpg http://wwwold.delphi...images/img2.jpg http://wwwold.delphi...images/img3.jpg http://wwwold.delphi...images/img4.jpg http://wwwold.delphi...images/img5.jpg http://wwwold.delphi...images/img6.jpg
  3. I think they should sell the hardware and wood like they did with the race track pieces at Daytona. It would make an interesting collectible and increase CF revenue.
  4. Funny, but I'm sure, seeing how Jim operates, that is exactly what he was thinking! They looked to be 24" wheels. They looked totally shot...but it would be a fun conversation piece to have.
  5. I watched this "match". Honestly these two wrestlers were pretty good. It didn't have the fake feel of matches I watched last year.
  6. The hot sauces were fun. The monorail ride, ehhh kinda scary. That sucker is slow, and it creaks like crazy! Still glad I was able to ride it.
  7. Headsup! I was at Jungle Jims this Sunday. They had what appeared to be original monorail wheel for free outside the main entrance. There looked to be at least 60 of them. Not sure how long they will last. Unfortunately I was on my motorcycle or there would be a few here at my house. BTW, what a great day to ve in the park. Feeling the windburn for all the rides I had on Diamondback
  8. To me it isn't nearly as smooth as opening day 2009. Then it was perfect with no vibrations. Absolutely smooth as glass. Now there are vibrations coming up to the trim in the middle of the run. Sure, it's still pretty smooth but no where near what it was. I do agree, it probably is the wheels needing some servicing.
  9. Oh course the day is over, but just for reference. The crowds were very low today. Everything was walk on for most of the day. Diamondback has a couple of minimal lines throughout the day but mostly walkon...heck stayon without even leaving the ride. It was a sweet day to visit. Just gotta take care of this windburn now
  10. I was on the train right in front of you, stuck on the first break run after the water. I was wondering if they had the capability of using the intercom system to let you know what was going on. I was glad everything got rolling again, it was 30 minutes until closing and this was my last trip of the season.
