About Me
I first had an interest of roller coasters in 2007, thanks to a game called RollerCoaster Tycoon.
Visited KI on September 30, 2007, only to find out I only loved watching them, and had a slight fear of riding them.
But I still kept visiting. On that autumn day in September, my first favorite was the Fairly Odd Coaster (now Woodstock Express). On June 30, 2008, the new favorite was Runaway Reptar (now Flying ACE) with Zephyr and Shake Rattle & Roll close behind. SR&R eventually pushed ahead on 7/04/08 because at that time I LOVED to watch Vortex, so SR&R was the perfect place to multi-task.
The first part of my transition from thrill watcher to thrill seeker occurred on August 14, 2009, when I challenged the Diamondback for the first time just because it didn't go upside down. With fear of high coasters conquered, that left only the fear of looping coasters.
That fear was forever erased from my life when for the first time, I rode Vortex, on July 23, 2010. That forever changed my point of view about rides, along with me getting a new favorite ride, and my inner thrill seeker was born. I achieved my long-time goal of surpassing 100 total rides on Vortex on Monday, September 3, 2012. I am now going for 200. As of Opening Day, April 28, 2013, my grand total is now at 140 and counting.
