    • I agree with the amazing view, perhaps turning it into a buffet of different food varietys?
    • I was curious with the new partnership of Cedar Fair & Six Flags if we would ever see our favorite mystery solving Great Dane return to Kings Island (and other Cedar Fair parks) in some way shape or form since it being a Six Flags property. I feel like Scooby-Doos presence was always necessary at Kings Island since being at the parks opening in 1972 through his removal in 2010, I feel like its Scoobys time to return, but what all do you think?
    • Several restaurants at Kings Island did do this last year by having monthly specials.  They were extras instead of replacing something on the regular menu.  They also did not appear on the menu boards but were instead on little signs in the restaurant, Brewhouse for instance had different specials most months. The park NEEDS to do a better job at communicating these kinds of things.  Maybe something in the app or a monthly post on the blog, but it needs to be communicated somehow. Here are the specials from July at the Brewhouse.  If you check the thread from last year I know people were randomly posting the specials.
    • I hope he blossoms this season. I didn't see him around as much as Chef Major and Chef Nate, but I was very impressed when Meteor Canteen had new employees last may, and were short staffed.  He came in and worked the location. When an executive does the work of a front line worker, it speaks volumes to me.
    • Late post, here is my trip report for my most recent trip to Orlando. I arrived in Orlando and spent the first day getting settled in. The next day I visited Epcot for their Flower and Garden Festival.  As far as the Flower and Garden Festival goes, the food was as one would expect from Disney. The decorations and gardening around the park to match the theme of the festival was much better than what they did for Christmas.  The following day I taken a break from amusement parks and enjoyed an ECHL game of the Jacksonville Icemen vs the Orlando Solar Bears. Being an interstate matchup made for great play and scuffles.   One thing I really enjoyed about this matchup was not having any emotional attachment to either team. Therefor there was no stress on my end. I highly suggest anyone who has a love for any sport to do the same.  The day before my flight out, I spent the day at Seaworld Orlando and participated in the Seven Seas Food Festival. Between the 40% discount voucher for merchandise, free feeding tray for the sharks, and a single use quick queue that I got to use this visit. Seaworld & Busch Gardens go to great lengths to show appreciation to their passholders. This was even further exemplified when they provided an additional 3 tastings to pass members who participated in the festival. For the festival one thing I've noticed as a change from this year from the previous is they increased the portions and provided a better variety of food options. My favorite meal by far was the Moroccan lamp chops, with garlic mashed potatoes and tzatziki sauce. Overall, this was a great trip to get out of the cold weather of Ohio.
