  1. Late post, here is my trip report for my most recent trip to Orlando. I arrived in Orlando and spent the first day getting settled in. The next day I visited Epcot for their Flower and Garden Festival. As far as the Flower and Garden Festival goes, the food was as one would expect from Disney. The decorations and gardening around the park to match the theme of the festival was much better than what they did for Christmas. The following day I taken a break from amusement parks and enjoyed an ECHL game of the Jacksonville Icemen vs the Orlando Solar Bears. Being an interstate matchup made for great play and scuffles. One thing I really enjoyed about this matchup was not having any emotional attachment to either team. Therefor there was no stress on my end. I highly suggest anyone who has a love for any sport to do the same. The day before my flight out, I spent the day at Seaworld Orlando and participated in the Seven Seas Food Festival. Between the 40% discount voucher for merchandise, free feeding tray for the sharks, and a single use quick queue that I got to use this visit. Seaworld & Busch Gardens go to great lengths to show appreciation to their passholders. This was even further exemplified when they provided an additional 3 tastings to pass members who participated in the festival. For the festival one thing I've noticed as a change from this year from the previous is they increased the portions and provided a better variety of food options. My favorite meal by far was the Moroccan lamp chops, with garlic mashed potatoes and tzatziki sauce. Overall, this was a great trip to get out of the cold weather of Ohio.
  2. I chalked up the 2023 season as Chef Perez's rookie season, a season for him to get comfortable in his position then with this season he'd spread his wings and showcase his true culinary talents. If what we are seeing is more of the same. Basically, comfort food as the only options provided, I don't see why the park would keep him around. I've never met or seen an "executive chef" working at Skyline, Larosa's, Panda Express, or other similar comfort food restaurants the park provides outside of the park.
  3. Enrique’s has steak. However, none of our BBQ restaurants have Brisket, like the BBQ restaurants at the other parks.
  4. I can't wait to see what new up charges they bring to nickel and dime us this season!
  5. So far for the 2024 season, I've been to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Seaworld Orlando. I have future plans this year to visit Cedar Point, Canada's Wonderland, Kings Island, Carowinds, King's Dominion, World's of Fun, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Possible parks if I have time will be Knotts Berry Farm, California's Great America.
  6. I would skip Michigan’s Adventure. Unless you’re specifically going for the coaster counts, you’re better off spending extra days at CP. Michigans Adventure is landscaped very nicely and the waterpark is nice, however the coaster and ride lineup is meh. The food was bad, so bad that I didn’t even redeem my second meal from the season long dining pass there and opted to eat outside of the park.
  7. So ready to enter a bidding war over the Silver Bullet water slide.
  8. Exactly and I’d like to mention too that Coney Island was charging $120 for its lowest tier season pass. Horrible value compared to what a $110 Silver Pass at Kings Island gives you. I hope something can be done to save Moonlite Gardens.
  9. I wonder if the same can be said about how many Cheese Coneys he has eaten on Sunday.
  10. Being that I visited KI 34 times alone last season, I’d say the passes still provide incredible value, even with the cuts. However I’m going to be spending less in park due to the fact there is no loyalty or rewards system in place for it. Nothing like spending over $1000 in park for the season only to be nickel and dimed over something trivial things such as whipped cream or house sauce. The park is essentially giving me the middle finger at that point.
  11. Well, if it’s the same Comms Director that undercooked my fries then I agree. Shame on them!
  12. Not a fan of surprises?
  13. As suspected, MEMI was going to try and preserve some historical aspects of the dry side of Coney Island. My question for those rallying behind the Save Coney Island campaign, would you do the same for MEMI to help raise the funds to keep Moonlite Gardens around? Maybe they can get a company(s) to sponsor Moonlite Gardens.
  14. Comparing the descriptions for each park’s website. Canadas Wonderland does not mention parking being included for the All Parks Add on:
