Riding a coaster while standing. One of the most interesting coaster rides ever. Shame it hasn't been done bigger and badder.

The king cobra was and will always be one of my favorite rides of all times. I remember when I was a small child, watching it in amazement. I was too scared to ride it until one time I was with a close friend of mine. I was too embarrassed to tell him I was scared, so I walked on through the line, gritted my teeth and rode. I had the best time ever at kings island, and have now ridden everything but the firehawk, in which I am awaiting. I miss the king cobra.

I miss the King Cobra so much. With all of the technology they should come up with another one. It was by far my favorite coaster ever!

Wow. The King Cobra. What a ride. I'm only 18 years old, and I still got a few good rides on this classic. It seemed like it took me forever to be able to ride it though, since I was too short. :-(. But I finally did. My parents stuffed my shoes and it made me just a little taller. It always gave me a bit of a headache though. Since I was so short, my head was between the head restraints. Still, great ride. I miss it terrible. The Delirium is a terrible way to replace the space occupied by King Cobra!

Oh yeah, the King Cobra baby. Every trip to Kings Island I demanded to wait in the line for this bad boy. Extreme is worth the wait.
I highly advise KI to begin plans for the Queen Cobra. Bigger and Badder - plus she is only down for maintenance five days a month.

i was only like 5 yrs old when they took it away... i remember waiting in line with my parents then being put in that like cage area for little kids while my parents rode it. Seriously though they should bring it back. make the son of beast a steel coaster with face off seats, bring back king cobra- more extreme of course, bring back the screaminn demon only taller- bring the up about 150 feet and drop it at a 90 degree angle - Extremmee!, bring back the bat only with firehawk seats. that would be sooooo awesome!
