The Flying Eagles were removed from Paramount's Kings Island at the end of the 2004 season to make way for the Italian Job Stunt Track. This sadly missed ride now resides at Paramount's Carowinds as Danny Phantom's Flyers.

The Antique Cars were removed near the end of the 2004 season to make way for the Italian Job Stunt Track. The track was destroyed but the individual cars are in storage within the park.

In the fall of 2003, a tornado struck the Mason area resulting in dangerously high winds. The 30+ year old sign just couldn't withstand the weather and fell to the ground. In the middle of the 2004 season, a brand new and more modern sign took its place with a more "Hollywood-ized" look to it. To see construction photos, go the construction gallery.

The Chippery was a PKICentral fan favorite for the entire 2004 season. This totally original restaurant served Chips, Dips, and Sips, which was far from your conventional International Street cafe'. Unfortunately, this business was far ahead of its time and never reopened for the 2005 season.

This old-time auto themed restaurant was replaced by Happy Days Diner at the beginning of the 2005 season.

When it opened in the early 1980s, the King Cobra was not only the first stand up rollercoaster in North America, but was the first stand up coaster to ever have a loop. Having seen its prime come and go, this coaster was removed in the 2002 season and is in storage at the park.

Once one of the key attractions in Kings Island's former Wild Animal Habitat, the Lion Country Safari Monorail closed in 1993. It was purchased in the late 1990's by local businessman "Jungle" Jim Bonaminio, owner of Jungle Jim's international food market in Fairfield, Ohio who is currently giving the ride new life, with new track, as it will shuttle guests between the store, parking, lot event center, and a starbucks cofee.
