Starting out as a Freewebs site to host photos from the park from a park enthusist, PKICentral was born. As increased traffic persued, that enthuisist contacted Dane Thomas, A freelance Web Developer and Programmer out of Dayton, Ohio to take the site to the next level. Dane came in and changed everything. He moved the domain to its own domain and hosting on Invision Power Services servers. He added ride bios and forums.

On April 8, 2004 version two of PKI Central was launched. That summer would prove to be the biggest summer for PKIC as its forums took off and PKICentral started to gain notoriety and some media attention. PKICentral also aquires Ryan Suhr, a college student in Northern Kentucky majoring in Marketing. PKICentral also changed servers to a semi dedicated server from Nexigen Communications, a up and coming computer solutions company based out of Northern Kentucky.

In the month of November 2004, PKI Central.com aquired PKI Unlimited.com, another Paramount's Kings Island website rich in content. Shortly after, PKICentral unvailed its third version of itself. Taking the best of both sites and putting it all in one convenient place PKI Central.com became: The Complete Guide to Paramount's Kings Island!

In summer of 2005, PKICentral was getting bigger and bigger, aswell as their hosting company. Nexigen Communications than moved servers to the heart of Cincinatti in the iLand datacenter.

Kings Island Central has now moved in to a Semi Dedicated quad core server in Southwest New York.

Kings Island Central today has been referenced and discussed in dozens of newspapers, TV, and radio stations. Including the front page of The Enquirer, Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentuckys most popular newspaper. It attracts thousands of people a day to check out the latest news in Kings Island admusment park. It continues to push itself to the best it can be with its huge forums, blazing speed, and up to the minute coverage of the parks happenings aswell as expanding to other area attractions.
