  1. I saw this picture on Tumblr and had to share it on here since it's how I feel all the time at Kings Island. Just thought you guys might find it funny. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Well considering I spent about $15 after my discount for 2 slices of pizza and a Coke I might be thinking about it. I could have went to Little Caesars 3 times for that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I loved it! It was very good. A nine year old girl actually almost knocked me down because she thought they were actually One Direction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Ride op had me do something I've never done before, cross my ankles and she got the last click down 3x easier. Never thought about it but it seemed to help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Too bad we didn't have a "KICers think the darnedest things" thread because I thought of something really dumb today. While walking off The Bat I realized that the queue line on the left isn't part of FD/Bats queue. It's SOBs. Don't know why I ever thought it was for The Bat it's nowhere near the actual queue. Or on the right side for that matter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Mentioned this is my Trip Report but I didn't really like that they had FUNTV playing in Boo Blasters. Since it was on, there was lack of the theme music. It felt less "haunted house" to me and more like I was just waiting in a dark queue with some fake (and real) cobwebs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Id probably go with around 3 1/2 hours or so. Honestly it depends who I brought with me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I was surprised today that the wait for The Bat was as long as it was. It was around 30 minutes for me but it was getting longer when I got off. I did hear a few people make comments like "yeah this is new" but not sure if they thought it was brand new or just newly themed.
  9. Glad to say my first trip of the season was a pretty good one! Went with my soon-to-be cousin and had a great time! We arrived at the park around 11am, went straight to Backlot (which was closed). We decided to ride The Beast at maybe a 10-15 minute wait. Shout out to the awesome ride ops who were really nice about me needing an extra click, some get annoyed and just make you leave but these didn't. Awesome first ride of the season, did seem a little rougher than I remember last year. By the time we had gotten off The Beast Backlot had opened back up, 10 minute or so wait. Honestly I love this little coaster. Always an fun ride for me. My cousin didn't wanna ride Vortex so we went to see how long the line for FoF was. It said about 90 minutes, the outside queue was only half full but I didn't know if the whole inside queue was open. Decided not to ride it, and move on. Firehawk didn't seem to be running, don't know if it opened up later or not. Rode The Racer, bout a 30 minute or so wait time. Blue racer wasn't operating until about 2 cycles before we got on. After that we went to Delirium to try to get a ride before Boyz are Back started at 1:30. The line for Delirium was 30 minutes also. AWESOME ride, loved watching Banshee in action while we waited as well as see her while we were on Delirium. We went to Festhaus to eat (and to see Boyz are Back). Great show. Maybe it's the fact that I grew up in the Jonas era but I squealed when they started singing Pom Poms. Didn't think anything could top British Invasion for me but it did. Also I felt like the prices got raised from last year (I could certainly be wrong). $13.29 for 2 slices of pizza?! Got my Banshee souvenir cup though which was good, even though the boy checking us out was very confused. After we got done eating we went to ride The Bat, after checking out Banshee of course. The line for Banshee was way to long for my cousin (who isn't a crazy coaster fan). I was amazed at how awesome Banshee looks. The fog and the queue make it so much more exciting IMO. Also got a good picture of the new The Bat sign. The line for The Bat was longer than I expected. Around 20 minutes, but everytime I've ever rode it's been almost walk on. It was worth it though, love that ride. Always ride it every time I go since it was my first ever coaster. Rode Boo Blasters then decided to head on home (around 4pm-ish). Had a great time all in all. Only saw two super lovey dicey teenage couples My only thoughts were in Boo Blasters Fun TV was playing on the speakers so they cut out the "scary" music, as well as the pop up characters (if I remember correctly they were there last year.). IMO kinda cut out a little of the fun of the wait. Another thought is even though Boo Blasters isn't technically in Planet Snoopy it is aimed at kids (at least I think) and a lot of little kids were making comments about not knowing who was singing, what was on the tv etc. My thought would be could they show more kid stuff on Fun TV in Planet Snoopy? (I'm honestly not sure if they even have it in the other rides in PS, if they don't ignore me lol) Disney/Nickelodeon has music videos, even if it was Hannah Montana or Selena Gomez. Something kids would recognize, as opposed to Lorde. Also, no Gold Pass parking? Was this a thing last year too? I got dropped off Mose the time but I thought there was still Gold parking. Just my thoughts haha. Well hope you guys sort of enjoyed this trip report
  10. I can't fit on diamond back but I can fit on everything else. I'm 260 5'3. I get on rides with over the shoulder really easily. Should I have a problem with Banshee?
  11. Adding my young opinion to this thread lol. I'm 16, and and as far back as I can remember it was scooby doo. I was terrified of it when I was little, but I loved the Scooby Doo theme if it. When they changed it to BBOBH I was really disappointed, but I think it's slightly better as far as theming (except the random garden at the end). I think it serves it's purpose quite well since most people think it's part of Planet Snoopy, therefor assume it's really for the kids. And I'm sure it's thrilling for little kids. I would love to see something (possibly in Action Zone.....sorry had to say it) that had an actual haunted house/ride sort of theme though.
  12. I don't know if I saw this mentioned (I just skimmed through the posts). Though maybe something like locker rental being included if you have a gold/platinum pass? I'm sure they could do something to make it so you could just scan your pass. Even if it wasn't free the whole day, at least for a few hours? Just a thought. I do know a lot of people who put their bag on top of the lockers or next to it on Firehawk. Of course nothing valuable, just sunscreen and stuff.
  13. Last year was my first opening day and though it was busy we got around 13 rides in. leaving at about 5. I would think that with most people going to be in line for Banshee that the other rides may not be as crowded? Just a thought.
  14. I heard something about King Cobra inside of Outer Limits. Yeah, the trains from King Cobra used to be stored in the FoF building. They were removed in 2012 I believe.
  15. I'll be getting my Gold pass renewed next week. I also wish that I could get a new one with the new look, I suppose if you "lost" yours you could. But I don't remember what the fee is for replacement. Or if you've had it a long time I would see if they'd let you get a new one? Because of the card wearing out, barcode not working as well etc.
